At the one fixed hourly rate, our vacuum excavation units for hire are equipped with both EMI and 2D GPR locating equipment, providing you with the ability to accurately locate your services, assets and cables as well as pothole down to confirm in the one piece of equipment.
Vac-U-Digga NZ has invested in the very latest and state of the art ground penetrating radar (GPR), in addition to developing our own armoury of technologies that include radio location, remote sensing technology, and infrared light. This gives us the ability to detect non-metal fibre optics by identifying chemical compounds, aerosols and even single molecules in a non-destructive manner. Our experienced GPR service technicians are experienced in detecting cables, utilities, voids, pipes, conduit and underground objects by using the most advanced GPR and underground services location technologies.
At the forefront of our business practices is the safety of our personnel. We ensure any remote work procedures are undertaken with GPS monitoring systems that will alert us if anything were to happen and where help is needed. With the use of GPS monitoring, our staff are able to communicate for help directly and effectively no matter where they are. All remote work can be performed independently or otherwise, dependent on your requirements.
